Highlight and Font Colour

Microsoft Word will occasionally miss errors. To avoid having a document filled with minor errors you must proofread your own work. However, you can take your hand off the print button and keep your red pens and highlighters stored in that old coffee mug because Word has tools to mimic those items. The tools are the Highlight and Font Color buttons under the home menu tab. These tools do exactly what their titles suggest, it allows the user to highlight and change the font to any color. This allows the user to point out errors through the use of contrast, so when you go back to correct the errors you know exactly where to look. The picture below shows how to select the  highlight and font color options.
